Dr. David Hughes is a much sought-after speaker at international conferences and seminars on global food industry issues, particularly consumer and retail trends. David has lived and worked in Europe, North America, the Caribbean, Africa and South East Asia and has extensive experience as an international advisory board member with food companies and financial service organisations on three continents. For 20 years, he was a Non-Executive Director of Berry Gardens Ltd – a U.K. farmer-owned berry fruit business (£230 million turnover in 2015). With his American business partner, David established, grew and sold a branded fresh produce business which served supermarkets in the USA. Around the globe, he works with food and beverage supply chain companies – including farm input, growers, manufacturers and ingredient companies, retailers and food service firms – to assist them in management training, strategy and Board level decision-making. David’s views are frequently sought by TV, radio and the printed press.
Mary Kay is a business coach, strategy, and systems consultant, and speaker with INspiring SIGHT. Her niche is around complex system dynamics, including multi-generational systems and the cultural factors which drive them. Mary Kay has been working with complex family, public, private, non-profit, educational and organizational systems for twenty-five years. Donna Rosa is a US-based international business development services (BDS) consultant and strong champion for small enterprise in developing countries. With a focus on the food processing and agribusiness, she provides business advisory services, business analysis, business plan development, market research, marketing support, capacity development, training, organizational development, and mentoring.
Donna has an exceptional combination of international food industry experience in 13 developed countries, technical background in food science and nutrition, and hands-on development work in 14 emerging countries. She has worked for multinational food companies as well as USAID, DfID, and UNDP. Donna’s special interests include entrepreneurship as a means of economic development, sustainable development, social responsibility/shared value, social enterprises, inclusive business, and eliminating poverty, hunger, and malnutrition.

Martyn is Managing Director of the Center for Strategy & Leadership, a consultancy based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He is also Adjunct Professor of Corporate Strategy at Amsterdam Business School, University of Amsterdam, and affiliated with TIAS School of Business & Society, Tilburg University.
His international teaching experience stretches over 20 years, covering both open and customized in-company programs, and Executive MBA modules in the fields of strategic innovation, strategy implementation, and leadership. He is also the advisor of management teams in these fields.
Martyn’s current research is focused on the interplay between strategic management and organizational learning. His path-breaking book Corporate Universities: Drivers of the Learning Organization was published by Routledge in 2014. Prof. Olaf is an expert in Greenhouse growing of vegetables and flowers, postharvest physiology, quality controlled logistics, consumer acceptance and market science. He possesses more than 35 years of experience in university education in agricultural related sciences, experience in public-private research projects and management, experience in teaching in the Wageningen Agri-food MBA and experience in teaching several courses for the Wageningen Center for Development Innovation about Horticulture and postharvest management
Ravishankar Natarajan has been active for over 35 years in agri-inputs, agri-commodities industry and trade in India and African countries. His last 20 years of industry engagement has been at the levels of GM/CEO/MD leading and implementing business strategies in seed industry, electronic spot exchange for agri commodities and international trade. In the seed industry, managed functional areas initially followed by overall business responsibility role to oversee and setting strategic directions in R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales & Marketing, in a MNC and Indian company. His profile is unique with exposure in setting up electronic spot exchange for agri-commodities giving him an opportunity to appreciate challenges of transforming a multi layered trade which is entrenched in practices of several decades.
Shubham Chandra has over 18 years of experience with helping clients leverage technology to gain competitive advantage through product development, technology evaluation, and market assessment. We work with fresh fruits and vegetables shelf life extensions, handling and storage protocols, consumer products, HVAC equipment, design, fabrication and testing of refrigerated containers, and test and evaluation of ethylene control devices. Sundar (or Rajan) has 30 plus years of work experience in Agriculture Inputs Industry after his PhD in Agricultural Sciences. His career began with a 5 year stint with a CRO (Contract Research organization) engaged in research pertaining to pesticides in agriculture and public health.Followed by 25 years of career in a MNC in various functions including product development, marketing, technical services , sales and operations planning and research and development and regulatory and stewardship aspects for pesticides and seeds. This kind of wide exposure in agri-inputs industry is unique. Core competency is in the area of pesticides from discovery to farm-use level. Current engagement is in the area of managing and resolving issues regarding pesticide residues in export commodities such as rice.
Mr. Udai possesses 35+ years of techno-commercial work experience in various Food establishments of repute in India and UAE. His immediate past assignment was with SGS India as Training and Technical governance head of food division and a short stint with India’s Leading snacks manufacturing company namely, Haldiram Nagpur as General Manager operations.
Served as resource person for Designated Officers and Food Safety Officers of Food Safety and Standards Authority Of India (FSSAI), all over India, for food safety, Hygiene, Food Safety Management System (FSMS), Traceability, Recall, Risk Assessment, Surveillance and other relevant topics to Food safety.

Dr. Tyagi possesses more than 13 years of experience in the field of horticulture research and extension and contributed to significant amount of action research. He has published 15 research papers in international and national peer reviewed research journals, 25 papers presented in international and national Conferences/ Symposiums/ Seminars. Nine books, 03 training manuals, 03 impact studies, 12 success stories, 10 extension bulletins and 135 popular articles go to the credit of the author. His contribution in the subject was recognised when he was bestowed with the “Best Writer Award” in 2009 by Bhoomi Nirman National News Paper, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh). K. Tyagi is working as Scientist (Horticulture) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Khargone (Madhya Pradesh). He did his B.Sc. (Ag) and M.Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture during the year 1999 and 2001, respectively from JNKVV, Jabalpur (M.P.).
